The TMCCI is a business advocacy private representative body, promoting the interests of small and medium businesses within the Republic of South Africa. The Chamber was established in the Free State in the year 2011, and has since extended its services to other provinces, in response to the demand from businesses requiring different forms of assistance all over the country. The Chamber was the brain-child of Pitso Simon Tsotetsi (Pictured), who serves as its current President. He tapped on his experience as a leader in NAFCOC in the Free State, and in the Bloemfontein Chamber of Commerce, to establish a new Business Chamber which will cater to the needs of businesses in a more effective and holistic manner. This led to the formation of the Thabo Mofutsanyana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, named after the Municipality District in which it was established.
